The MB-650 comes with 1/4" offset jaws and a 6 1/8" inside jaw spread. The MB-650 is 4-coiled, base plated, center swiveled and has an extra heavy duty oversized pan which provides for a huge kill area. The pan tension is adjustable with a #10 brass pan bolt. Both heavy jaws are held down by the trigger system which will keep any animal from flipping up a loose jaw. The dog has a "step-down" notch milled into it that gives you an audible click when you're lowering the pan. MADE IN USA!!!

MB-550-RC
The 550-RC has an outside jaw spread of 5 1/2" and an inside jaw spread of 4 3/4". The cast jaw face is 3/8" thick and the offset is 3/16". Paws-I-Trip pan and night latch dog are standard. The round dog design doesn't allow coyotes to bite and bend the dog as easily as standard flat dogs. Pan tension out of the box runs an average of 2 # which we have found to be a very good number for a multi species trap. Tested extensively over a two year period on coyote, bobcat, red fox, and grey fox. This trap is fast and excellent results were obtained using it two coiled in wet heavy red clay. If you are not planning on 4-coiling your MB-550-RC's the manufacturer strongly recommends cutting the excess spring pins off leaving 1/2" protruding from the frame.
