Tanning/Sewing Fee: (To determine the cost of your blanket, simply multiply the tanning/sewing fee by the number of pelts you have. Example: If you have 20 raccoon pelts, and would like to have a blanket made from them, the total cost for your blanket will be $720)
Beaver: $52 each Coyote: $44 each Fox (red/gray): $40 each Raccoon: $36 each
*King Size Blanket (approximate size: 7' x 7'): Beaver...takes about 18 pelts Grey Fox...takes about 48 pelts Red Fox...takes about 36 pelts Raccoon...takes about 36 pelts Coyote...takes about 21 pelts

*Full Size Blanket (approximate size: 4 1/2 x 6): Beaver...about 12 pelts Grey Fox...about 30 pelts Red Fox...about 21 pelts Raccoon...about 21 pelts Coyote...about 12 pelts
* The approximate number of pelts recommended may change, depending on the size of your hides.
* All blankets are backed with satin for a smooth, luxurious feel.
* All prices assume that your hides have been properly fleshed, stretched, and dried. Add $2 per pelt (raccoon and fox), $5 per pelt (beaver), and $3 per pelt (coyote) if your hides need to be finished.
* We do not accept animals on the carcuss (in the round).
* We do NOT charge extra for tanning fees. Tanning fees are included in our price.
* If you want a blanket made, but don't have enough pelts to complete the job, we can provide the extra pelts at the current fair market value.
*Tan at your own risk!!! Hides must be cleaned, fleshed and thoroughly air dried. Because many trappers and coon hunters don’t properly take care of their fur, we can make no guarantee on what the quality of fur will be after the tanning process is complete. Skin, clean, and flesh your animals immediately after being caught. If you don’t have time to properly care for your pelts, then you don’t have time to trap, PERIOD! If you take pride in your fur handling, you can expect to end up with beautiful pelts. |
